Becoming a Board Member of CADSAZMOM

Mar 28 • 1 minute read

The Central Arizona Dental Society Foundation (CADSF) hosted its 6th annual Dental Mission of Mercy event at the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum at the Arizona State Fairgrounds December 8-9, 2017, bringing together hundreds of dental professionals who provided free care to adults and children. Dr. Michael Bleeker is a proud participant who has volunteered every year since the beginning and looks forward to their upcoming event in December 2018. He is excited to announce that he has been asked to join the board and looks forward to becoming an integral part of AZMOM, and the highly successful events they have held over the years.

“This event is a great way for Arizona dentists to help the underserved in our community. There is a huge need for events like this to help people that otherwise would go without care,” says Dr. Bleeker. A recent survey found that 21 percent of Arizona adults and 31 percent of all Arizona children have never had a dental check-up.

About CADS AZ Mission of Mercy: Their mission is to provide charitable dental care and education to Arizonans, reducing health risks and suffering for those in need.

As in past years, the emphasis is on relieving pain and infection.  Dental services such as fillingsextractionscleanings, as well as limited lab work will be provided to both adults and children of all ages.  Take a look at this infographic from their event in 2017.
